Suresh Raina who played for Chennai Super Kings till Last Season of IPL(Indian Premier League) was brought by Gujarat Lions Franchise In Recent Player Auction for IPL(Indian Premier League) . Suresh Raina is well Known for batting in the middle order and a good fielder and also bowl when needed .

            From IPL(Indian Premier League) Starting Season to Last Season he played only for Chennai Franchise in Chennai super Kings Team(CSK). In IPL(Indian Premier League) from begging he played 122 innings and scored 3699 runs all together with an average of35.14 and strike rate of 141.06 .

He made a century in IPL(Indian Premier League)2013 and made 23 half centuaries till now.he scored 294 boundries and 134 sixes.

Former Austrialian player Brad Hodge is going to Coach newly formed Franchise Gujarath Loins for 9^th Season of IPL(Indian Premier League) which is going to start from 9^th oh this month. He played so many tests , One days , t20’s and domestic cricket for Australia  Hodge, who is currently playing in the Masters Champions League in the UAE held the dual role of captain and assistant coach for the Adelaide Strikers in the recent KFC T20 Big Bash League, leading them to the semi-finals .

Brad Hodge is confident that under his Coaching Gujarath Lions team will perform good in the upcoming event.

Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium also known as Khandheri Cricket Stadium(Lions Den) which has capacity for 28,000 spectators. Initially it Ranji matches were played  from 2013 one twenty 20 match between India and Australia Hosted by Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium the match was won by india by margin of 6 wickets in 2013 itself Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium was hosted a One Day International match between India and England in  which was won by England by the margin of 9 runs.And Another match Which was Hosted in 2015 between South Africa and India the match was won by South Africa with margin of 18 runs.
