As a captain M.S.Dhoni succesfully lead
Chennai super kings team till last season by winning the title for two
consecutive seasons (IPL-2010,IPL-2011) and Runners-up for IPL(indian premier League)2008 and for
season 2013 of eight seasons of IPL(Indian Premier League).

2008 to 2015 but due to suspension of
of Chennai Super Kings Team franchise for two years from 2015 to 2017
,now he was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants for a good Amount in IPL(IndianPremier League )2016 at players Auction.

career. His score includes 70 half-centuries and he has Average of 39.32.
dhoni had hit 216 sixes and 218 boundries ,he also holds the record of
forty(40) Not Outs.
Under his captaincy not only won title for
two consecutive seasons of IPL(INsdian
Premier League) but also his team came to finals and stayed as runners-up for
Two Seasons . though first twoSeasons of IPL(Indian Premier League) was won by
other teams (first season won by Rajasthan Royals and second season was won by Deccanchargers ) his team started to win the title from third season and then
continued to win consecutively for the two Seasons of IPL without giving chance
to other teams under his captaincy.
For the first time inIPL(Indian Premier League) M.S.Dhoni
changed the team ,till now he played under single franchise and in Chennai
Super kings .

stature and cool-headedness lead to his appointment as India's captain for the Inaugural
Twenty-20 World Cup, where Dhoni's calm leadership steered India to victory. He
then became the ODI captain after Rahul Dravid relinquished the post, and
eventually, ascended to the full-time Test captaincy once Anil Kumble retired.
